Shannon and Chris Garner

Shannon and Chris met when they attended Northwest Technical College in Bemidji. Chris and Shannon have been with Allstate Insurance since June of 2000; Chris started in the insurance business in 1995. Chris credits DEX for giving him the confidence to start his own business -- the skills to keep it going and the drive to get involved in the community.

Chris currently serves as Vice President the Western Area Business and Civic Club Board of Directions and on the Board for The Spirit Valley Citizens Neighorhood Development Association. Both are non-profit groups that promote business and development for West Duluth.

Shannon (Maddy) served as the 1992 – 1993 State President. After graduation, Shannon worked at Kelsey’s in Bemidji until she married Chris. They moved to Grand Forks, ND and she worked as the Marketing Director for Healthsouth – a physical therapy clinic. Moving to Duluth, Shannon became the assistant manager for Eddie Bauer. Now she is a full-time mom and part-time Insurance Agent with Chris.
